Greenville Hospital System, Greenville, SC
Greenville Hospital System caters to three acute care hospitals and five
satellite campuses across the country. GHS holds over a thousand beds and
competitively employs 7,000 doctors, nurses and staff. The main hospital in the
system, Greenville Memorial, is listed as the 30th ranked hospital in the United
States. Services offered by GHS include: behavioral, health, cancer, cardiac,
emergency, hospice, primary care, rehabilitation, surgery, volunteer, women’s
health and Center for Health and Occupational Services.
Bon Secours St. Francis Health System, Greenville, SC
The St. Francis Health System has 319 beds, 2,132 employees and 185 volunteers.
This award-winning health system operates four facilities in the Upstate: St.
Francis Downtown, St. Francis Eastside, St. Francis Outpatient Center and the
Upstate Surgery Center. Among the many services they provide are orthopedic
(among the top 5% in the nation), cardiac (among the top 5% in the nation),
comprehensive cancer and women’s services.
Oconee Memorial Hospital, Seneca, SC
Oconee Memorial Hospital features several specialized centers for health care
and physical therapy. The facility prides itself on heart care, wellness,
emergency, rehabilitation and surgical centers. They also have a home health
care program in coordination with Oconee County. OMH boasts a 160-bed health
care facility with over 1,000 qualified doctors, nurses and employees. In
addition to the traditional services offered by most hospitals, OMH offers
additional programs including outpatient specialty services, lab services,
respiratory care, and an on-site pharmacy for your convenience.
AnMed Health, Anderson, SC
Anderson County is home to AnMed Health, a 560 bed facility offering general as
well as specialized services. They have a Level II Trauma Center and are AAMC
licensed and accredited. Over 400 physicians care for the 533 bed acute medical
center as well as a 40 bed rehabilitation hospital. In conjunction with Anderson
County, AnMed developed a Community Health Center Network which involves local
practices for primary physician care and referral. In 2003, AnMed began a $112
mil lion expansion which includes a women’s and children’s hospital, cancer
treatment center and a cardiac diagnostic and rehabilitation center.
Palmetto Baptist Hospital, Easley, SC
Palmetto Baptist Hospital of Easley includes 109 beds, 166 medical staff
members, and 499 other employees. Within the last five years, $5 million of
renovations and additions have made Palmetto Baptist a fully equipped acute care
general facility with special attention paid to helping create the outside
community a safer place. Located only minutes from Greenville, the hospital is
within a fifteen minute drive to the Greenville Hospital System and the
additional services it has to offer.
Greenville Veterans Clinic

The Greenville Outpatient Clinic was established and opened in the summer of 1985 as a satellite to the Dorn VA Medical Center. The Clinic moved into the space it now occupies in September 1992. This Clinic was established to provide primary-care, dental and pharmaceutical services to veterans in the upstate area of South Carolina. At the time it initially opened, the Clinic was expected to see in the neighborhood of 20,000 veterans. Over the years, this number has increased and the Clinic presently has approximately 45,000 to 50,000 patient visits annually. In addition to the core services, some specialty clinics, such as Rehabilitation and/or Prosthetic Clinics, Pain Clinics, etc. are held at the Clinic on a monthly basis.
