Outdoor Recreation at Chau Ram County Park & Brasstown Falls
Located at the confluence of the Chauga River and Ramsay Creek is Oconee County ’s “Best Kept Secret”, Chau Ram Park . With a 40 foot waterfall and Oconee ’s longest suspension bridge, Chau Ram has something to offer for everyone.Visitors can enjoy hiking/biking trails or go tubing and fishing on the river. Many campers use the park as a base when going rafting on the nearby Chattooga River. The park is open from 7:00 a.m. until dark. Brasstown Falls is tucked away in the southern edge of Sumter National
Forest. The falls tumble for 120 feet in three consecutive and equally dramatic drops. Relatively secluded in a portion of a scenic vale known Brasstown Valley, it’s a nice place to bring the family because of the moderate, 20- minute hike and calm swimming hole at the base of the upper falls.

Play Golf on the shores of Lake Hartwell
The Trails at Chickasaw Point is a scenic 18-hole course, home to an abundance of wildlife, including turkey, deer and fox. The narrow fairways are defined by a standard cut of rough.
