Have Coffee, Grab a Bite, Browse Books
While Children are Entertained by Story Time!
By Shonda Boyanoski
There are many options in the Upstate for fun and educational ways to entertain children while parents can meet friends, grab a bite, do a little book browsing, and have a cup of coffee by going to local businesses that offer numerous activities aimed at young children and their parents.
Children love to meet the characters from their favorite books, such as The Cat in the Hat and Curious George, and parents get to enjoy some time of their own. Some locations also offer crafts for children, so call ahead for details.
